Areas of Focus
In my practice I specialize in supporting individuals through a variety of life experiences and challenges.
Women

To the women navigating life’s complex paths—know that you are not alone. For over two decades, I have dedicated my work to supporting women through the unique and layered challenges they face across the lifespan. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and workplace wellbeing consultant, my practice is grounded in trauma-informed care, psychological safety, and authentic connection. I have worked with women navigating major life transitions, caregiving roles, identity shifts, health challenges including cancer survivorship, and the pressures of balancing personal and professional responsibilities. My work experience spans counseling, advocacy, volunteerism, leadership development, and organizational support—always centering the lived experiences of women with empathy and respect. Whether in one-on-one sessions or systemic advocacy, my approach honors each woman’s voice, resilience, and capacity to reclaim agency.
Adolescents

I offer a safe, supportive space for adolescents navigating the often overwhelming challenges of growing up. With experience as a school counselor, adolescent mental health and substance use counselor, and mentor, I understand the complexities teens face—whether it’s anxiety, academic stress, peer relationships, identity exploration, substance use, or the impact of trauma. I work with adolescents who may be struggling to manage emotions, cope with anxiety, make healthy choices, or feel seen and understood. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and grounded in empathy, helping teens build self-awareness, coping skills, and confidence. I partner with both teens and their caregivers to support growth, communication, and healing.
Young Adults

Young adulthood is a time of major transitions—academically, professionally, and personally. I offer a supportive space for young adults navigating anxiety, identity development, relationship challenges, academic or career stress, and the impact of past trauma. With over 15 years of experience working in higher education settings, I deeply understand the pressures and complexities facing college students and emerging adults. Whether you’re adjusting to newfound independence, struggling with uncertainty about the future, or managing the expectations of others, our work together will focus on building clarity, confidence, and coping strategies. My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and collaborative—helping you reconnect with your values, make empowered decisions, and move forward with greater self-awareness and self-trust.
Caregivers

Caring for others—whether a child, aging parent, partner, or family member with a chronic illness—can be both meaningful and exhausting. I offer a supportive space for caregivers who are balancing deep emotional labor with the demands of daily life. With extensive experience working with families, supporting work-life integration, and navigating caregiving across the lifespan, I understand the unique stressors that come with this role. Whether you're managing burnout, navigating medical systems, or struggling to find space for your own needs, our work together focuses on compassion, boundaries, and sustainable support. You don’t have to carry it all alone—caregivers deserve care, too.
Cancer

A cancer diagnosis—whether your own or a loved one’s—can bring a profound sense of upheaval. I provide a supportive, trauma-informed space for individuals navigating the emotional, physical, and relational impact of cancer. Whether you're facing a new diagnosis, undergoing treatment, adjusting to survivorship, grieving a loss, or walking alongside someone you love, you deserve a place to process, breathe, and feel supported. As someone with personal and professional experience in this space, I understand the identity shifts, grief, uncertainty, and resilience that often come with a cancer journey. Together, we’ll explore tools for coping, healing, and finding moments of steadiness and meaning in the midst of it all.
Groups

There is healing power in knowing you're not alone. Group counseling provides a unique opportunity to connect with others who are navigating similar challenges, offering both shared understanding and diverse perspectives. In a group setting, participants benefit from supportive dialogue, guided activities, and the sense of community that comes from being truly seen and heard.
I offer groups for cancer survivors, caregivers, teens experiencing anxiety, and individuals exploring healthy relationships. Each group is thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, confidential space for reflection, growth, and skill-building. Groups are self-pay only, typically running for 4 to 6 sessions at a rate of $30–$50 per session. Whether you're working through life transitions, learning to manage stress, or hoping to build stronger connections with others, group support can offer validation, encouragement, and practical tools for healing and change.
